Peaches and Strawberry Cream Trifle
1 large tin of peaches drained or 5 peaches sliced
1/2 cup dessert wine
1 punnet strawberries pureed
1 carton of plain cream whipped
1 tsp vanilla essence
butter cake
1 cup custard
Place peaches and dessert wine in a dish and leave in the fridge for 1-2 hours to marinate.
Make custard or buy it. Make or buy a plain butter cake.
Puree strawberries. Whip cream with vanilla. Mix pureed strawberries in the whipped cream.
Once peaches are marinated place in the bottom of a trifle dish then cut up slices of cake 2cm thick and place over the peaches. Drizzle the dessert wine marinade over the cake. Pour custard over the cake and then pour the strawberry cream on the top.
Cover and put in the Fridge until ready to serve.
