Quinoa Apple Crumble
8 small red apples peeled, cored, sliced and chopped in half
Cook on low to moderate heat with 1/4 cup of water for about 7 minutes until apple is soft.
1 cup ground almonds (grind almonds) or almond meal
1/3 cup of desicated coconut
1, 1/2 tbsp castor sugar
1 tsp cinamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 cup quinoa flakes
2 tbls butter melted
1 tsp vanilla
Melt the butter in a pan and add the sugar and the rest of the ingredients and lightly fry. Once the apple is cooked serve in bowls and top with the crumble mix.
