Creamed Rice
2 cups of white rice
2 cups of milk
2, 1/2 tbls corn flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
3-4 tbls sugar
Boil rice. In a seperate saucepan bring milk, sugar and vanilla essence to the boil. Mix corn flour with a bit of milk to make a smooth paste as soon as milk starts to boil add to milk whisking quickly so as not to get any lumps. Whisk until it thickens and then add rice and mix through.
